Mr. Kane here,

It's that time of year again. I can feel the chill in my bones. Snowflakes flurrying around my nose as I tip toe through the crunchy white stuff. I hurry to do my business so I can race back to the door to get back inside to the warm spot. My favorite winter spot is hanging out by the sliding patio doors. I have the best view to spot all of the wildlife...like rabbits, skunks, and birds. The real reason it is my most favorite spot is that there is a nice and toasty heater duct right in front of the door. I lay there and warm my front paws. The sun always comes shining through until around lunch time. I'm one spoiled pup.

I do have to make the occasional appearance and pose for the camera.
Ugh..this time it is in front of the pink trees!!! For Pete's sake..I am a pit bull after all.

Guarding the tombstones

I am on guard duty and I am trying to keep the gravediggers from digging up my hidden bones. Soon as they are painted up they will look even scarier. Halloween is near. You know how I can tell? They try dressing me up in silly costumes...aaaaargggh.

I know it's been awhile since I have last blogged about my doggie days. It has been such a busy summer for me. My allergies are making me craaaazy. Itchity Itch, Scratchety Scratch. Most of my Saturday and Sunday mornings include a brief ride in the back of the green truck. I love the feel of the breeze on my whiskers. The view is best on the driver's side. "Corn to the left of me and beans to the right, here I am..stuck in Indiana again." I couldn't resist that tune. Autumn is coming I feel it in the air on those early morning rides. Pretty soon the rides willl come to an end until the warmth of spring arrives.
Here is a recent photo of me trying to camouflage myself from the world. Since no one can see me I can rest quietly and safely.

I promise I will not stay away so long next time.

I cannot believe they made me do it. Those bratty kids had to grow up and now I am left to be the "cute" one. Shame on me...I will do anything for a treat. Almost anything that is. I do have my morals. I left a bowl of fresh water and a plate of doggie biscuits for Santa last night. When I awoke, to my surprise not a morsel was missing. He is probably tiffed at me for being a poser.

Maybe Santa felt sorry for me because he did leave 2 gifts for me under the Christmas tree.

I had a little trouble opening them but I was victorious. Santa thought he had me with the scotch tape trick but I prevailed in the end.

Hate to see what I will be doing for New Years Eve...hope it's not anything to do with a diaper like the New Year's baby wears....yipe, yipe, yipe.

I cant drive 55!

I can't drive 55! I am making my get away to check out the pooches down the lane. Boy, this car is faaaaaast.
I can barely see over the steering wheel but I am riding in style..yeah baby. And I do have to say I look very good in the color RED. Fast as fast can be, you can't catch me. Isn't that what the gingerbread man claims? Oh well, better race home before they miss me.

A MonSter UnDer my bEd?

See this closed door. That male human does not let me in. I hear the water running. The male human spends 3o minutes behind this closed door every evening. The male human finally opens the door and has wet fur on his head and a fuzzy towel around his mid section. Weird species...those humans.
When this door closes each night I assume my usual position as a monster under the bed! First just my hind legs are exposed to the human species. Looks very scary....

Then the humans get closer and see a bit more of my kanine features. I still am a monster under the bed.Here comes the the monster-like features good thing no tiny baby humans reside in this humble abode. I would fear for their safety. Monsters under my bed are very very scary.

Come on already, Just leave me be...I am a monster under the bed! Roarrrrrr.

Never mind the wagging tail...I am a Monster under the BED!!!!

Oh, it's just lovable ol' me, KANE! I told you there was nothing to be afraid of. sigh

Spa Treament ala Kane

Mr. Kane here...Geesh Lady, is it my turn yet? She has been typing away for hours. Maybe if I lay my head down and look all sad face she will set it down and walk away. Come on...Walk away from the laptop.

It worked, It worked, It worked!!! My evil plan (I mean my sad face) really worked :(

The following photos capture my fabulous day! Sometimes I am one lucky dog.

The outdoor temperature was a pleasant 72 degrees and I was just itching for some scratching, a little tlc, and a trim. I headed outdoors to the local spa. The trimming of my fur was an awesome treat for me. I should have left a better tip.

The hot stone treatment really helped my aching body. I almost fell asleep. It was fabulous.My next stop was the tanning bed. I can only tan for a short time because I am fair skinned. The ladies do not like me with a pink nose.
Iwas so relaxed and still had time for a little snooze before my chaffuer was scheduled to arrive.

A little help here? I am too relaxed to make an effort.

I've got the wind in my face and the sun on my back. Home James!

Prisoner has Escaped!!!

I have escaped from that prison cell "formerly known as the klinker"! My ghostly image can be seen walking away from the cell. Wonder what adventures there are in store for me today?

Well blow me down....lookie what I have found hanging in the college girl's room. What does she think this is a dormitory.

It has caused quite a stir in this room. It was billowing away in the wind...just taunting me with the smirk on its face. I outta...bark bark bark bark bark bark grrrrrr woof woof brrrrrrrrrrrarrrk. Good thing she held me back I might have ripped it to shreds.

That should show him who's the boss around here! As you can see I am staring it down and it seems to be crumbling. I have discoverd its weakness.

Kane in the Klinker

Mr. Kane here...

Every night I am slammed in the klinker. I do not know why they insist on locking me up. I did not chew on their socks or jump on the furniture, what gives?

It might be because I crawl under their bed at night and then they chase me out. The bedroom door closes behind them and I figure I should lay faithfully right in front of the door. Sometime in the middle of the night some clumsy oaf steps on me and almost breaks their neck not mentioning the stomping on my poor little rib cage.

I am just saying that might be a reason, but I am sure they have their own story.

I am so used to this cell that I can be found lounging in my kennel before it's even lock down time. I am a model prisoner. Sometimes I get out for good behavior.!

Mr. Kane here...I finally got use of the lap top!

It's not very often it is left unattended, but today is my lucky day.

I will only be able to blog when no one is around. For some odd reason drool is not appreciated on the keyboard...Humans!

I will keep all my loyal readers updated as much as possible on my dog blog.
